Community Church Family— We’re so excited that this coming Sunday, June 14th we are able to have live church together at 1400 Numa! We want to make sure everyone knows what to expect when we come together, so please be aware of the following things:
We will have 3 services; 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:00am. We are asking everyone to call the church office and let us know which service you plan to attend so we can spread people around between the three services. At this time we are limited to 25% capacity in our sanctuary and we want to avoid the possibility of a service exceeding its limit. If you are able to attend the 8:00am or 11:00am service, please consider doing so as we expect the 9:30am service to be the most popular. Call Stephanie at the church office (530-257-2924) to get on the list. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and Tuesday from 1:30pm to 4:00pm. We are closed on Fridays.
Our 9:30am service will be live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube. If you are not feeling well or are uncomfortable attending live church at this time, please stay home and worship with us virtually.
When you arrive on Sunday morning, we ask that you please refrain from hugs and handshakes for the time being. We realize this is difficult as we are all so excited to see each other, but please respect the fact that others may not be as comfortable as you are with physical contact at this point.
For each service we’ll have everyone enter through the main doors of the building, but after the service you’ll be encouraged to exit through the side doors at the front of the sanctuary. Ushers and greeters will be stationed at all the doors to open them for you. Our ushers and greeters will be wearing masks and gloves. Masks and gloves are not required for those attending, but will be available for anyone who wants them. All door handles and other hard surfaces will be sanitized between surfaces.
There will be no childcare or children’s classes for the time being, but children are welcome to sit with their families in the sanctuary. Activity packets for your kids will be available at the children’s check in counter.
We will not be passing offering plates; instead, offering boxes will be available at the front of the sanctuary or feel free to continue to use our online, text, and mail-in giving options.
The coffee bar will be closed, but feel free to bring your own.
As you know, things are constantly changing in this unusual season. We are hopeful that some of these precautions will be relaxed in the next few weeks. We will continue to keep you updates as things change from week to week. Feel free to contact us with any questions. In Christ, Your Pastors and Elders
